Two of the longest and largest main roads run through North Amman:
Jordan Street: Established in 2005 with a length of 28 km, it connects Amman and Irbid governorates, extending from Wadi Al-Haddadeh in East Amman and running through North Amman via Shafa Badran and Abu Nusair for 20 km within Greater Amman limits, and 8 km outside until reaching the Amman-Irbid International Road.
Yajouz Road: Starts from the traffic light intersection that separates Queen Rania Street and the areas of Sweileh and Jubaiha, passing by Yajouz Bridge, which intersects with Jordan Street, and ends at the beginning of Zarqa governorate. Yajouz Street thus connects Zarqa and Amman.
Arab Street: Connects Abu Nusair and Shafa Badran, beginning from the Applied Science University roundabout and extending east to Shafa Badran.
Abu Nusair Street: Meets Arab Street at the Applied Science University roundabout and extends west to Abu Nusair and Jubaiha.
